The Golden Coast Big Band was formed in 1972 and over its 45 year existence has undergone a number of changes to both personnel and name. Performing regularly at The Cedars Inn, Bickington the band took on the name The Cedars Show Band and then latterly The Cedars Big Band. In 2017 the band moved to a new residency at Portmore Golf Club and The Golden Coast Big Band name was reintroduced.

Today the band has a core ensemble of 15 players who along with the vocal talents of Jo Jones boast a repertoire of over 650 songs/tunes.

The Golden Coast Big Band perform every month at The Portmore Golf Club, Landkey, Barnstaple for your dancing and listening pleasure. There is ample Free Parking, a large dance floor and a licensed bar available through out the evening. Check out our events page  for more details.
