Biography:
"Chris began playing jazz piano in Bath in the '60s, moving to Portsmouth in the '70s. He plays with his own band, the Georgia Ramblers & several other jazz groups and big bands in the South. Chris performs ragtime, stride & boogie, featuring pieces Joplin, Morton & Waller & many more.
When all else fails he has been known to sing (This bears a government health warning). A regular visitor Down Under, he performs regularly in the annual Jazz Convention Australia.
A performer at Bude Jazz Festival since the 1990s, for many years he led the morning sessions at the Brasserie on the waterfront.
He helps run Gosport jazz Club and is the man who books the bands."
