Keyboardist James Clemas is the perfect foil for Hilda. Offering beautifully textured underpinning and sympathetic composing he can also dig deep producing powerful and imaginative solos that really hit home.

James turned professional at 16, a graduate in Jazz Studies (BA Hons Leeds College of Music) and has been a backing musician for some of the UK's best jazz, soul and R & B acts. He has also been a side-man for Digby Fairweather, John Petters, Alan Barnes, Tony Kofi, Dave O'Higgins, Jim Fryer, Martin Dale, Maggie Reeday, Roy Williams, Greg Abate, Robin Reece and Simon Spillett, Martin Drew, Jim Hart, Jamie Taylor, Neil Maya, Pete Allen, Garry Jackson and the Mike Isaac band.
